Putting Together a Lift Kit for 35's. Need a little help/advice
I have a 2dr auto that is also my daily driver. I eventually want 35's. Doing so, I will obviously improve my suspension.
Now, I will be getting 4.56 gears (b/c the JK is also my DD), and Teraflex CV front/rear driveshafts, and JKS front/rear adjustable track bars.
Questions:
1.) Do I want long arm or short arm kit? Why or why not?
2.) Besides the coils, control arms, bumpstops and disconnects, what else do I need to make sure I have so that my install is perfect and I have no problems?
Thanks everyone!

TF 2.5" coil kit will easily fit 35's with no rubbing. Not gonna say the long arms kits arent great, but for 35's you just dont need it. Go with the TF 2.5 or 3" kit and consider a set of front lower control arms. You will love it.
Depending what you plan to do in the future with your jeep you can go with a Teraflex 2.5" lift and you won't need anything else. Now if you go 3" adj control arms is a must so you can dail in your alignment and rear pinion angle to avoid driveline vibes. A adj front trackbar will also be needed to cneter the front axel. With a 3" kit on a 2dr you will also need to swap out your driveshafts for double cardin type DS because the factory DSs can't handle the angle with that much lift on a 2dr.
As far as brands go there are a few that are very good, but I'm with Teraflex.
Do some searching and you will see why.
Good luck!

Thanks you two. Let me ask, because this may be a way to save money (thanks). Let's say I do this 2.5" lift. In regards to control arms, should I be looking at upper's, lowers, and what maker would you suggest getting them from?
As for driveshafts, I'm already looking into Teraflex, and as for adjustable track bars I'm already looking into JKS.
Thanks!

Save yourself some cash and put 5.13's in the Jeep if your running.35's.
Also, for a 2.5 lift you don't need adj control arms. As for the front trackbar you can stick with your stock one as well. The 2.5 kit with shocks, springs and links will be all you need at that height.
