Default Picked up the new 4 Wheel Drive mag today...

and in the Rubicon build up they have a coil mount retainer from JB Conversions. I guess this mount keeps the spring from binding or tweaking. They say in the article that this happens to all Jeeps that are lifted. Question 1, how many people have spent the money on this upgrade and B is it worth the investment? I was thinking about going with the TeraFlex 2.5 or 3 inch lift.

That suspension system from Kore might be the nicest one I have seen for the JK's

Thanks for any feedback

As long as you have shocks that aren't too long you should be fine. I've got mine lifted 3" and I've never had that problem

Didn't find it with a search online. Guess it's a brand new product? Similar to the Teraflex lower spring retainer that lots of folks are using? Or the Teraflex upper spring guides? Or something different?

If you're thinking about a Teraflex lift, you may as well consider Teraflex spring retainers...

It's a lower spring retainer that has to be welded in. When I lift my JK I don't wan't any issues what so ever.

The only time RubyDoo spits out a spring is when she has wrecked a shock and it was taken out.

The coil retainers are included in all 2.5" kits that have TeraFlex shocks and all larger kits. But anyone can buy these from TeraFlex.

Thanks Teraflex! I hear great things about your product and will go with you guys. With your 2.5 kit I can easily fit 33's or possible 35 inch tires? I live in Chicago where I do mostly hiway driving but looking to build one bad ass JK. Waiting for my lift kit before I do any offroad stuff.

How much for that kit?

Thanks again,
E

Yes the 2.5" work great with 33/35's. Price depends on which of the 6 different 2.5" kits you want.
