Parks closing?
I don't think this will affect us in any positive way...
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's budget cuts could mean the closing of up to 220 state parks, among them the home of the world's tallest tree and other attractions that draw millions of visitors.

Yeah, I read that and it totally sucks. I've already called the governor's office. We are paying for decades of incompetence on both sides of the aisle. If they want to get crazy, sell hemp and marijuana... don't close our parks.

And, for the record, I don't think this will happen-- at least, not on the scale the "governor" is proposing. He's just pissed that we rejected his ballot initiatives. He did the same type of thing last time around....

Yeah you'd think they'd see all the revenue taxing cigarettes has made and actually "think outside the box" for a change and legalize marijuana to raise revenue...versus over taxing individuals, reclaiming dollars allocated to local governments and closing down state parks.
Sorry I'll get off my soap box for now...
