Default Dash disassembly cause I lost something in it!!

OK,

I had a key fall into the front part of my dash. Is there a online resource anyone can point me to so I can pull apart my dash and find it?

You'll have to buy the service manual - you can purchase it at TechAuthority.

before you go through all that, how about pickin up one of those magnetic pickup tools and stick it down in there and jook it around and hope for the best? sounds alot easier than tearing the dash out.

Yeah It's not ALL metal. I would think that as long as you don't use one of them biga$$ pickups (that would most likely stick to everything but the keys he's looking for) it might just do the trick

Unless the key is brass then you are still hosed. I just tested all my keys on my key ring and none of them were magnetic.

You could drop your windshield, increasing the size of the hole between the dash and windshield, then look down and see what is there.

Was it drivers side or passengers side or middle? If you remove your glove box (just squeeze side walls in and pull out) you can get up in there pretty good if it was the passengers side or middle. Drivers side is a bit tough to get into.
