Broken windshield...not responsible?!
So on my way into work today, i got a nice little reminder that it's good to not be on a scooter.

So i caught up to the truck that caused the destruction...and look what the sign says on the back!!

And I am paying the bill...the $60 bill isn't worth the headache of contacting anyone. I just wish they had a company number on the side of the truck.

Sorry then. That sucks.
It is my understanding (I am no lawyer so take it fwiw) that unless the driver is grossly negligent in how they secured the rocks in the vehicle that it is truly not their responsibility. The expectation is that you use caution when following something like that. If they didn't have it covered or something like that and stuff was flying it would be their fault.
