Default Question about carpet

OK...the Jeep got soaked to the bone this past weekend at the Buffett concert. I pulled all the carpets and the drain plugs to dry her out. So far, so good. This morning I drove her to work and it's soooo much louder. I really have to put the carpets back in now that everything is dried out. Question is...how do you do that? I was thinking of using a plastic putty knife to kind of jam the carpets edges back under the center console and plastic door trim...but is there an easier way? The spot between the seat and the center console looks like it will be really tricky.

Yes, eventually I will probably Line-X the whole inside, but for now I'm just looking to get the carpet back in.

I also tried searching for putting the carpet back IN, but all I could find were people pulling it OUT (begin jokes).

Thanks in advance for any help.

No need to get any tools. Just use your hands. It is a lot easier to put it in than you think.

I swear, it just slips right back in. (ok have we officially reached "enough of that")
