Got pulled over by a cop today on my way out to pick up some food to help soak up all the drinking I will be doing at my July Fourth Celebration Beer Fest competitive drinking... so I put it in park and look back at him while he is getting out of his car wondering what he possibly could have pulled me over for and he says, and i quote "dont worry dude im not pulling you over I just wanted to check out your jeep..." Thank God! Thought it was pretty funny and felt I should share anyone else ever have this happen?

 

My wife had that happen to her last year.

my brother is a cop, he does it all the time.

 

A couple years ago in my TJ I dropped my girlfriend off at class and was pulled over on Greek Row The cop just wanted to tell me how bad ass my Jeep was and how he use to have a CJ and missed the good'ol days.

Last year in my JK I was pulled over for speeding. I really was speeding, but I told the cop I have a Jeep and they can't go past 65 so you must've clocked someone else by mistake (I was near 80 on the highway). He looked at me a bit perplexed and let me go with a warning.

 

I actually stopped a guy for a legit traffic violation two days ago, but he was driving a TJ so I let him off with a warning.

 

I haven't been pulled. Over but I kinda wish it would happen for that reason. I'd love to talk to a cop about jeeps.

Got pulled over once cause cop wanted to check out the JK, then today that same cop saw my Jeep again when I was at Starbucks and he told me how fun it looks with the doors off.

 

I had that happen once in my 3000GT.

 

It's always good to make connections with the boys in blue. You never know when you'll need them.
