Thank you S.L.C.!
Thank you Sean and SLC. I got the new crossmember on Friday afternoon, as described, and bolted it in place today! What a difference. My stock crossmember was totaled to say the least. I had developed a vibration and a ticking sound. I had known my front transfer case crossmember was bent, but hadn't really know how bad it was til I got the new one delivered. It took some herculean efforts since the bolts were now at weird angles, but once I had the old one off, the new one bolted in in minutes! Took it for a test drive around the block, and no vibration and muc h smoother~! FYi, if you need a replacement part, it never hurts to email one of our vendors! I had been quoated a ridiculous cost for a new crossmember, and on a whim pm'd SLC. Prompt reply, extremely fair price, and excellent service.
Just a big Thank you, and Happy 4th!

Speaking of wheeling with different people, when are we going to get out to RC together?

i will definitely be at the JK fest, before that is hit or miss
The crossmember has been beaten up over many trail rides. I got home, and noticed the vibration and a noise. Decided to replace what I knew was bent, but after getting the new one in, I had never realized how beat-up it was!
As for hitting the trails, I'm strapped this month, and headed to the Outer Banks the beginning of August. After that I might be able to hit some trails.

Ty, i had whacked the crossmember on my JK on something last year, i was starting to have a strange vibration and the shifter was kicking out of 2nd and 4th gear. after PM with chris (piginajeep) he sent me his after his LA kit and the vibes are gone and no more popping out of gear. i had to "persuade" the bent piece out with a BIG hammer and pry bar!
hows the baby?
