Default About to go pick up some rubi take offs, last minute questions

Hey everyone,

I'll be picking up some rubi take offs from one of two sellers (depending on if one comes down on his price -- he wanted $1000) and I had a couple last minute questions.

I did some measurements and it seems like they will fit on my stock X (no lift) but just wanted to double check here to see if anyone's done it and had any problems.

Also, has anyone crammed five of those bad boys into their (2 door, seats down) jeep before? I'll have to transport them home and I'm wondering if I should take my roomates RAV4 (I know....I know..., but it has a lot of cargo room).

Thanks.

Pumped to get them by the way.

2 door, no seat, 5 stock X wheels/tires with a 33" nitto mud grappler

Hope that helps

I'd take the RAV4

The spring rates are a little different on the Rubicon compared to your X. But should fit under your stock suspension ok. I think you get a 1" lift with Rubicon springs. I have seen someone cram those tires in his Jeep but it will be very, VERY, tight fit. Almost looked dangerous. And if you did, it would mark up your interior if they were dirty. That is if you cared about it.

The inside of my soft top still has tire imprints from that stunt I wouldn't suggest going that route

Tires and rims will fit. There is no suspension lift on a Rubicon. The height difference is from the taller tires. Different spring rates help to keep all Jeep at the same height irregardless of options such as 4 doors, hard top, etc.
