diff cover leaking
has any ones front diff on there dana 30 leaked yet or had any probs yet i only have 1545 miles and only gone whellin 2 times and took it kinda easy till i get the feel for her
its like they have some guy in the factory with a supersoaked loaded with RTV

my solid cover wasn't leaking until it took a pretty hard hit on a rock, it must have got bent a little because no matter what i did i could not get the leak to stop(lubelocker). took the lublocker out of there sealed it with some rtv retorqued and waaaalaaaa no more leaks
I don't think you can bend the nodular iron of a SOLID diff cover, not unless you dropped your JK off the Sears Tower.
All you have to do is torque that LubeLocker down to about 50 pounds and you'll be good to go.

whoa think i would have twisted some bolts in half.anyway it's all good now.
With the threads posted this week on diff. covers, lube lockers and torquing...? I would certainly not torque anything like that to 50 pounds. Do a thread search in Modified area and see what I mean.
