Default Door hangers, door carts... What do you use?

I recently moved into a house with a garage (woohoo!). :-) This means I can swap my hard / soft doors more easily -- hauling those steel doors up to my 3rd floor condo was a real PITA. So now I'm wondering the best way to store the doors in my garage without damaging them. I already have the Bestop door sleeves -- which are great to remove and move the doors, but not so great for storage. I've found these on Quadratec:

Any opinions on these? Is anyone using a better home-made solution?

Thanks,
js.

I use the Lange Door Hangers. Just be 100% certain you are mounting on the studs.
I like them. I don't feel they are worth $50, but they are nice to have.

I'm guessing you haven't had a door fall-over yet. They're heavy and the sheet metal is thin...

Default I go cheap...

I have a low celing in my garage (which limits me to 33's and a 1.75" lift) and I use the heavy duty bike type hangers from the celing. I roll down the windows and hang 'em from the hooks. They are lined up down one wall of the garage. Every once in a while hang from the hooks and try to jerk them out just to make sure they are still solid!!! If the doors hit the ground it would be pretty ugly...

If you have a high ceiling, that could be a challenge. I bought the wall hangers for that reason. I also wanted them off the floor.

I have the Lange Door Hangers. mount them to a stud and its solid. The front doors fit great, the back doors are a little snug on the window seal due to the narrow rear door windows and the thick foam pad on the hanger.

Default Door cart

i built a cart similar to the second pic. Used scrap lumber i had out back and went to the local carpet shop and asked for scraps to line it with. The only thing I bought were 4 locking casters at Harbour Freight for $15. It looks cheesy but it gets the job done.

I use the Lange Hanger. Works great. You get a little better fit if you fold your mirrors in.
