Default Why is it that when you remove the doors....

Why is it when I remove the top and doors that I feel a need to prop my left foot out of the door and rest it on the lower lip? Additionally, when I remove the doors and top my Jeep seems to stride with a new-found pride as if to say "Look at me, I've got my doors off.............try that!"

What really sucks is when you put the doors back on and your leg gets cramped because you have to confine yourself back to normal driving.

I saw a Geo Tracker yesterday with its doors off and softtop on.

I thought about asking him why he didn't just buy one of the many used Jeeps around town.

I’ve noticed, and maybe it's just a mind set, but my jeep without the doors and top back, seems to be more nimble. It seems snappier or lighter on its feet. I find myself taking of a little quicker, and that the response of the Jeep is much nicer.

One of those days today for me on the way into work... Doors/Top off around 80 Degrees not a cloud in the sky. Makes you love your Jeep even more!
