Dodge Dealers Can Work On Jeeps
Hey All,
A friend of mine is a Dodge Mechanic - did you know they can fix Jeeps, including warranty work? Turns out the repair side of the dealer network is all the same for Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep, it is just the sales side that is different.
Mine just came back with a new front shaft and new ESP main sensor.
So, if you hate your Jeep guys, but like your Doge people, swing in!

In my area the dealers are usually Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep branded ..not individual brands. Unfortunateley, they tend to be
" CHRYSLER/DODGE/jeep"
and know very little about Jeeps.
The dealership in town actually had only 2 Jeeps on his lot when I was looking to buy one.

X2 exactly
It's a shame that the only good dealers to deal with around here were closed or stripped of Chrysler products, and I am forced to drive 25 miles to the only dealer left which doesn't care about thier customers.

Yup.....my Jeep dealer (who has since been stripped of their franchise) told me that when we were finishing up the purchasing paperwork. They were about 15 miles from me, and told me that the Dodge dealership that is only .5 miles from me could do all the work on my Jeep. They told me it was their "sister dealership". I'm assuming they are owned by the same family
Then Chrysler stripped their Chrysler/Jeep franchise and ended up giving it to that same Dodge dealership down the street. Some pretty confusing shit

To me the problem isn't finding a dealership that can work on a Jeep. It's finding one that is mod friendly. I can't wait until the first time I need service on my Rubi and the service department tells me my lift voided the warrenty considering they have 5 BRAND NEW lifted Jeeps on thier lot w/ 35" tires.
