Default Gonna get the jeep, quick question about pricing

Hey guys,
I think im finally gonna make the plunge .
dealer has a new 09 sahara unl. Has nav, leather, dual tops, chrome package, and seems like everything it could offer.
Sticker is 37k, but the owner of the lot has been using it as his personal vehicle and has put 4k miles on it (they call it a demo now). I find it amazing that they still think its new, but nevertheless what should i offer.
Ive got them down to 34,999 and then ill get the 1500$ cash back, so im around 33,500. I still think thats awfuly high for a "new" jeep w/ 4k miles on it. But its the only one around w/ all the things i "need". So whats everyones opinion on this, my thoughts is it should be around 31k-32k. Thanks in advance.

seems kinda pricey. i was out the door on a 09 rubi at 32,865 in feb of 09 and mine had 26 miles on it. i also have navi and duel tops.

id say if ur out the door for that much then it wouldnt be bad, because ive herd they went up since i bought mine.

27K is more what I think. They gotta take off something for the dealer using it as his personal vehicle. Don't be a fool. When did they start putting leather in jeeps? I paid 29k for mine when they first came out. You should be able to get it cheaper I would think.

I'd lowball them. Offer 27K. If they don't like it, leave. They won't sell it at 37K anyway. Basically, they're offering you 3K off sticker for a used vehicle. You could do better new at a lot of dealerships. Just wait it out.

Not that I waited when I bought mine in 2007 though. Paid a hair under sticker, and that was with a lot of bargaining. Only green 6 speed in town.

I would call them on the "new" BS. Not sure about your state laws but here in Cali anything with 3,500 miles can not be sold as new....period.....doesn't matter if your the first owner or not. I have actually seen people successfuly buy "used" with a little over 500 miles (demo). I would say they need to consider knocking 15-20% off that sticker and suck up the loss, they put the miles on it they can eat the price difference!

ok this gives me something to aim for. I think 27k would be a tremendous deal. But i dont think i would be able to get below 30. which i think would be great as well. It just hurts to know my new jeep would have 4k miles on it already. When i bought my 2000 wrangler it had 7 miles. Big difference. Then again, i think that i will be putting those miles on it anyway, so i might as well try to get a hell of a deal out of it.

Default Seems too high

I bought my Sahara 4 dr in March, no nav or leather seatsbut dual tops ans towing.
I paid 27K plus tax and I thought I paid up a little. My Sticker was $32.6K and invoice about $28 or 29.
Your nav is worth a grand and leather seats as well so 29K would be OK. You got 4K miles though so maybe a little less.
ASK TO SEE THE INVOICE and never pay over invoice.
Good Luck

Wow these things must have really went back up. I was thinking you could get a 4 door sahara for like 25k loaded. I know last year they were getting them at that price. I think I'd walk on that deal unless you just love it. Is it lifted and sitting on 35's for that price? Hopefully it got 3.73 gears at that price. Looks like they would take some off for dealer joy riding it..
