Default I'm getting sick of the heat!

44+ days over 100 degrees in Austin since I got my Jeep in March - I just want to take my top down and enjoy the weather, but it's too damn hot!

Anyway, what's the hottest you've seen your thermometer read this summer? This was taken last week on my way home from work in downtown Austin.

Yup, up here in the Northwest, it's been in the 90s for a while, and none of our houses and offices have air conditioning! It sucks!!!

I know I am getting tired of the heat, Temps have avg. 33-38C (98-108F) for the last 4 weeks in Revelstoke. It's tough driving around town with the top off with that heat!!!.... Also, Fire ban has been in place for a week now....forest fires starting up just about everyday. Wouldn't surprise me of a total industrial work ban in the Forests if this heat keeps up for another couple days. I would love to see some rain to drop the Fire Hazard Rating.

I don't think anyone beat my picture. It was 136 the other day but I didn't have my phone with me to take a picture.

No way... you took your woman's blow dryer to your heat sensor, didn't you!?! That's insane! Do you run with your top off in that kind of heat? I'd be sweaty mess by the time I got to work...

Now you know what it is like living in Arizona!! I've left my Jeep in the direct sun before and measured upwards of the 120s. Shoot, we hit a record in May of this year for having consecutive days over 100 degrees......that was in MAY!! Some parts of the country were still getting snow!

That's running a hard top, it makes it like an oven inside the jeep, but I imagine the sensor is on the outside. If you've ever ridden a motorcycle in South Florida, you can actually feel almost like a heat bubble up to about 2 feet from the pavement, where the temperature is like 10-20 degrees hotter than the air.

I see some guys in CJs and TJs down here with no roof / no doors in that type of heat and I don't know how they do it.

The sensor is right behind the grill of the Jeep - it measures the outside temp.

I actually ride my motorcycle to work a few days a week, but it's just too hot right now. I absolutely know what you're talking about re: the heat bubble. Let's just say my boys are floating in a pool by the time I get home!

Sorry folks....Last 2 weeks in Tennessee it has been unseasonably cool. Highs in the 70's and low 80's. My top and doors have been off for 2 months now. It's weird weather, but I'm thankful for it.
