Default Women and soft tops

Is my wife just weak or do alot of women have trouble getting the soft top up and properly secured. Last week she came home with the sails flapping in the wind because she couldnt muscle them on. At least most of the rain stayed out. Just wish the soft top was a little easier for the short and not so strong to put on. No disrespect intended to our female members here.

I had to use a ratchet strap last fall to get the flaps on. I started a road trip and it was 75. About half way through the temp dropped to about 55 and started to rain. It took me about 30 minutes before I remembered the straps.

Temps have a lot to do with helping with the soft tops..
I have the hard top on my JK, so it's either on or off, just be happy you can stop and put you're top on if the weather changes!
Having the hard top makes watching the weather channel more of a science!

Yea the temperature can do some nice tricks to the soft top. I think the manual says not to take it down if the temperature is going to be below 55 F because the top tightens up too much.

Also a little trick if you stand in the back seat it is easier to do by herself, that's what I told my wife and tried it first it is easier, no as far as the back flaps grab and pull with ur weight,

Teach her to pull down on the corners as she attempts to secure the flaps that will help tons. In fact its the only thing my wife had problems with.

Like some others have already mentioned, the temperature makes a big difference in how much and how easy the top will stretch.

If it's cooler out and the sails are giving me some hassles I'll pull down a bit on the top corners to give me a little extra slack on the sail.
