Default Ring & Pinion Install Kits?

So I'm buying a set of Superior 5.13's for my 08 2dr 6spd. It has just under 12k miles and was wondering if I need a full out install kit or if I could get away with the kit that has all I need minus the bearings, making it alittle cheaper? anybody and everybody's input is much appreciated

If it were me , I'd get the complete overhaul kit to be on the safe side.

I did it w/o the full install kit. The original bearings should be fine after 12K miles. I did get one spare loose bearing in case I buggered up the pinion bearing during removal, but that did not happen.

It's been 2-3k miles and all is well.

And he did it in his garage
...I personally would suggest the complete overhaul kits...unless your low mileage and are having a shop complete the install then they should be able to do it without the bearings. The only bearings that need pressing and pulling in a simple install are the pinion bearings, and this is where possible damage can occur to the bearings, but the shop should have the special tools to be able to do it without damage.

side note...on my install I was able to pull the bearings without damaging them with a simple bearing splitter (20 dollar tool) and hydraulic press
