Default Why do i have extra spacers from my RC body lift??

Put a 1.25 RC body lift on my JK the other night and came up with 2 extra spacers. I have a 4 door so it should have needed 12 spacers. The directions show that there should be 2 spacers on each side in the rear...mine only has the ones in the very back. Are the 09's different?? Kit said it was for 07-08.

I've heard this before, On my 07 there is two body mounts just inside the rear wheel well underneath the body. I dunno if there are holes there for mounts or what on your model or they were just left out or what. But I have heard this before.

there should be a body mount right by the rear shocks, in addition to the one at the very rear

I ran into the same thing when putting on my evap relo kit. I saw that I didn't have these and found out that there was a change made on the 2 doors.

To make up for it, I believe that the 08s and 09s use a larger bolt for the rear most 2 mounts.
say what?????

I have installed a BL on my 07 Unlimited and the exact same kit on my neighbor's 08 Unlimited. same amount of body mounts. This guy missed the ones beside the shocks I bet. the only difference are the different size bolts as you mentioned with Unlimiteds.

agreed however from reading the above post, I thought Planman was saying there are different numbers of mounts between unlimiteds from different years. He is correct, the rear two bolts at the bumper changed in size from 07 to 08 and beyond.
