Default No LoD rock sliders?

It's been a couple months now and they saw unavailable or discontinued.

Anyone have any ideas as to why?

Or a good substitute for a slider, frame mounted, useful as a step as well>

I would give them a call, no way those are discontinued. Northridge4x4 has still got them on the site.

Check our Shrockworks. I was either going LOD or Shrock. My wife and i decided on Shrock and ordered today. They have a summer sale going on now which reduced the price by $50. Look in the vendor section for their rebate information if you are going to order. I think it is good until around noon on Monday.

You can also look at WOL's install a while back and he has pics showing him using it as a step. The Shrock doesn't have a step like LOD, but it looks functional.

X2, I would call David at Northridge, he'll know, if there is a wait it is worth it, my wife loves the step feature and they look awesome.

^ x 2. Both are great , just a matter of getting over the delivery times . I have Shrocks...no regrets.

Most likely LOD is swamped with orders. As with everyone, definitely talk to Dave at Northridge.

I certainly hope this isn't the case as I've been ready to purchase a couple times, but the backorder situation pushed me elsewhere as it exceeded my window of need. Still want them, just need the backorder time to be under two weeks.

Me too, if its on BO then I cancel the order. Too many people going under for me to leave my money with anyone. In Calif it is illegal to charge before delivery as I understand it.

The LoD web site acts like they are out the window. :(

I'm not about to buy them if I can't find out the reason, like total failure on a boulder, or something simply like rust problems. I'd hate to think of warranty problems if there are no replacements.

I might have to recheck the shrockworks setup.

Thanks all for your input. I keep hoping for a rectangular tube type slider. Even one built on an angle with a cutout for a step. Frame mounted. It would make for a good slider design as well as a rocker point to pivot on rocks with.

Sort of distorted end view, doesn't show the step cut out nor the angle frame bracing but it cannot be that expensive to produce either.

I'm pretty sure LoD temporarily discontinued the sliders until they are able to catch up on existing orders and lower lead times on new orders. I'm hoping they are available again soon.
