Default Hey there I'm new! Trimmed fenders stock tires

Hey there everybody!

I have been following this forum for a while and finally decided to become a member. Lots of great info here!

I own a red 2009 Wrangler X. I bought it brand new about 3 weeks ago. I have already begun to mod it up. Currently I have an Olympic Boa rear bumper. Stock steel bumper undercoated with the Olympic stinger bar. And I have the rustys exhaust kit with the cherry bomb muff. (sounds great)

Well I have been really down with the trimmed fender look for some time. I have plans in the future to go larger with my tires (35s). But I was just wondering if anyone has trimmed their fenders down and runs 255/75R17s?

Any pictures would be really appreciated! And I'm wicked stoked to be on this forum now.

Thanks

Welcome to the Gang.... You'll probably just have to do some extensive searches. You're bound to find one somewhere....lol But I'd say go ahead and chop them now........you know you want to....right?
So go for it and good luck...

Get the wheels and tires first then do the chop. With the wheels mounted, you can better measure what needs to be cut in order to achieve the look youre after.

I was able to run 35" with no lift. However I used aftermarket rims with different backspacing. If you got some wheelspacers you mught be alright. I also have a rubicon soo it might be a bit higher than the x.
