Steering Drift -- Front-Right Tire is Wearing
I know this topic has come up quite a bit, and I've read through the forum. But here's my scenario and set up...
I have 2dr JK with a 2" Budget Boost. My front/rear trackbars are stock. All of my upper/lower, front/rear control arms are stock. I'm sitting on BFG A/T 33x12.50 tires. My wheels are 15" w/ 3.75" backspacing.
What's going on is when I let go of the steering wheel, my JK likes to slightly drift off the right. At first I was fine with this as I did a wheel alignment (months back) and figured this was fairly normal as it wasn't too noticeable or too much of and annoyance. For the JK to drive straight, the steering wheel is dead-on centered with the Jeep logo perfectly centered. But like I said, when I let go, the JK drifts off the right and the steering wheel will slightly turn to the right too.
At lunch today, I realized their is much more tread on my front-driver tire than on my front-passenger tire. But what's strange is I don't see any "streaks" that indicate the toe-in needs to be adjusted. (I could be wrong, though)
I took some rough measurements of how out-from-the-fender flares my tires stick out. Remember, my wheel backspacing is 3.75"
Front-Passenger = 2.25 inches
Front-Driver = 3 inches
Rear-Passenger = 3 inches
Rear-Driver = 2.5 inches
I am open to all suggestions, concerns, advice, questions, etc.
What components do I have to install to fix this? What should I do to fix this once and for all? Just give me something to work with.
Thanks.
Oh, and my tire pressure as been checked and is well balanced.
