Default Is there a mirror ding guard for strap off accidents...

I recently put the dreaded dimple in my jeep by leaving the strap on the door off. Does anyone make a plate or guard that goes over the little section the mirrors hit? you could protect from having this ever happen or cover a dent if you did a dumb thing like me. I was thinking maybe a diamond plate pattern in black would be sweet?

There actually is something. I don't know if it's made for that but it covers that section of the cowl.

The one thing that will definitely will prevent it is being careful. If you know you are forgetful and think you will let the door go while removing or replacing them then make sure you park with the rear of the jeep lower than the front.
