Default RC 2.5 BB - do I need trac bar kit too?

I guess it’s safe to say I am pretty much a newbie for suspension lifts. So, I figured I would start off small and work my way up as I learn more. I am planning to order the Rough Country 2.5 BB with the shock extensions. My question is this; do I need the rear trac bar bracket with this kit? Rough country sells a $30.00 trac bar kit and I am not sure if I need it. I know the kit is very basic, but for now that is all we need and can afford!
Thanks for the help!

I have this lift on my four-door and did not have any issues with the tracking shifting significantly (meaning I can't even see a shift). I say try it and check your front and rear axle alignment. Then decide if you want/need to spend the extra money.

I started with 2BB all the way around and my axles did shift. As i am continuing to upgrade I just bought F/R JKS adj. bars from Northridge... Figured I would need them if i keep going up.

It's not the same as an adjustable track bar but works alright. I don't know that it is necessary but for $30 might as well. When I put my RC BB on I used it because it is a frame mounted bracket and not one that attaches to the axle which can stress and break. One day I will get the track bars and replace it.

No track bars here... Mine has a slight 1/2 in shift to the passenger side which does cause my 305's to rub just a tiny bit on the plastic fender when blasting down the fireroads or at full stuff. The little tabs under there are gone at this point but no damage done...
I did find my flex was being limited by the stock swaybar links... I extended them by welding in a 4 or 6" long 3/8 pipe to add an inch (maybe it was 2) in length. They measure out at 7 inches center to center now... Don't remember what the stock was.

If you add a rear trackbar... you'll need to reinforce the substandard bracket on the axle.
