Default HELP!!! - Installed ARB compressor w/brake mount - Brake light won't come off!!!

Guys,

Here's another one of those 5 mins installs gone FUBAR for me...

So I got up today and decided to install my new ARB compressor with the mount that bought from Alpha Expedition (sweet!). Took more than 5 mins (aprox 30) because I couldn't get the bolts back on with all of the obstacles in the way...

I tried removing one of the sensors connectors that sideways in the brake fluid reservoir (no luck)... At the end I finally found an proper extension for my ratchet and was able to tighted everything real good, since the compressor is somewhat heavy. Didn't do any wiring since I thought of doing it tonight...

I climb back into my rig, turned it on to go to work and my brake light now stays on and I get a ding! Ok, get my superchips flashpaq to read if there are any DTCs... No DTCs... Ok, maybe I need a computer reset, so I programmed it back to stock and then again to my tunning program... No luck, brake light still on, and ding after it...

Oh well Battery disconnect then... Disconnect both batteries neg, waited 10 mins... reconnected again and the brake light is still on with a ding!!!

What do you think guys? Could I have overtightened something with those bolts? Maybe I left the sensor somewhat out when I jiggled with it? Do any of you have encountered such problem...

I don't feel any difference in the braking of the rig or on the brake pedal

Any help would be very much appreciated!!!

Hans

Here are some pics:

My hand brake is off:

One of the bolts that I tighted:

I did wiggle a little the brake lines when I was tightening things, and maybe I touched the ESP a couple of times...

Did you have your negative battery terminal disconnected when you were doing this.

I would try and reseat the one plug(connector) you tried to remove but couldn't. Also, make sure one of the wires didn't pull out from the back of the plug(connector) you were trying to remove. I don't mean all the way out just loosened and making bad contact,

i would definately check the brake fluid sensor... the one that goes into the tank. that WILL make the brake light come on. it thinks the brake fluid is low.. make sure u slide the red tab back. that is the lock. then push the piece to release the sensor. hope it helps.
check all connectors where u were workin.
good luck.

I didn't have the batttery disconnected when I was trying to install it... I disconnected it afterwards to reset the computer...

I've tried reseating the connector. I did slide the red tab back when I tried getting it out... Is this particular connector tight? I'll let the engine cool over lunch, slide the red tab back, get it out, and then try to get it to seat again... Does this make sense?

Tightening of the bolts not a problem? I couldn't use a torquimeter because of the space... Some sensor inside the drum...?

That is REALLY weird....

Double check and make sure the wire connectors are properly seated.

And just be sure you are not over tighten the nuts Not much torque needed. about 15lb

Isn't that the TPMS light? You might need to check tire pressure.
