Default Procal on a 2009?

I bought a used procal from a guy that had a 2007 JK and he says it worked for him. He went back to stock tires from 35" due to 60 mile daily commute. He said he reset the unit and it would be good for a different unit. I have tried to turn on the headlights, fog lights, and parking lights as running daytime lights and have had no success. Will this work on a 2009?

The only ones that will come on in DRL mode are the headlights and they wont come on till the parking break is released. Flash it, start it up on a level surface and release the brake and see if they come on.

Default Procal DRL 2009

I bought a Procal used from someone with a 2007. They reset the unit before buying it. I was trying to set the DRL feature on my 2009 and the horn honked twice but when I cycled the key and started the Jeep they did not come on. I thought it was defective until I read on AEV website the vehicle must be in drive for automatic and moving for a standard. Good to know my $80 purchase was worth the money.

I have mine set for the daytime running lights to be on. They will only come on after you put it into gear ,with an auto. Not sure about the standard trans.
