Default Best 6-Ply Tire?

I am wondering what options I have for a 6-ply tire?

My riding is 100% off-road and mostly over hard ground and rock. I will be driving on very hard packed, wind drifted snow in the winter.

I live in Nunavut, Canada.

Thanks!

My vote would be for the ProComp Xtreme M/T! Does really well in the snow. A lot of MT's aren't so great in the snow.

I thought ProComp's were 3-ply tires?

3 ply sidewalls, 6 ply treads. Were you looking for 6-ply sidewalls? It says it right on my tires. 6-ply, and tr-ply sidewalls.

For a 100% offroad tyre you should run a bias tyre not a radial.

Maxxis Trepador

Maxxis Creepy Crawler.

I dont know about 6ply tires but i do know that GoodYear has the tires that have Kevlar in them that make them 30% stronger.

While normally I would have put him onto a bias for 100% offroad duty, they are notoriously sucky in the snow and the OP does live in Canada. That's why I steered him towards a Radial.

Why are bias tyres bad in snow? Most Arctic 4x4s run bias tyres.
