Default 35's with no lift for 45 miles?

I know im going to get jumped on for this but ive got a pretty good reason. I recently got a job offer from another shop and in the negotiatons the owner being a big jeep/off-road fan threw in a set of 35" bighorns as a sign on bonus

The only problem is the tires are now sitting in his shop and they are pretty much in the way and my lift wont be here until mid next week. He's wanting me to put them on today so he can free up the space but of course im still sitting at stock height with stock steel x wheels with no spacers.

Does any body know if these will fit on a stock 2door well enough to drive home and park it untill my lift and spacers come in next week and then drive back to the shop to put the lift in?

I wouldnt normaly force the issue but Id rather him not be aggravated before I even start working for him.

Thanks
Chris

I put my 35" tires on a few day ago and ran them for quite some time. They actually worked out quite well on even pavement but I would not suggest going offroad as you may get yourself a fender revamp.

They rubbed at full turn in both directions on the airdam in the front. You can see some pictures of my Jeep with them installed *HERE*

Thanks locklain. Yea no offroad for sure. Just need to get home to my other car until the lift comes in. I ripped my air dam off a while back so no worries there. Since I cant see you pics at work were you running the stock wheels without spaces as well?

No, I have a set of 16" ATX Artillery rims with 4.52" backspacing. I don't think it would be possible to run a 35" tire on stock rim with no backspacing unless you only plan on going straight.

If you take out your backseat you should have enough room to set three of the tires side by side with one leaning on the backs of the other three.
