Default TF 2.5 lift w/TF 3" front coils?

anyone running 3" coils in the fron with 2.5" coils out back? I didn't get any sag from the new ARB bumper but I am sure the winch will drop the front. Was planning on just adding a puck but now I am thinking 3" coils would be the way to go.

I dunno if that is a good idea. I think the 3" spring would be too tall. I have a pure jeep stubby on the front of mine and it is heavy as hell for a stubby. It doesn't sag my 3" at all. the 2.5" kit has 3" lift in the front and 2" in the back. The 3" springs usually give over 4" in the front. So you will have 4" front and 2" rear.

not yet, but I plopped my old school pierce winch on it to see if the weight was gonna squat it and it moved less than half an inch. That is a heavy worm drive winch too.

hmm... maybe I will just hold tight until I see what the winch is gonna do. I was suprised to see ZERO movement after the ARB. It's only 89lbs but it felt like 200lbs when I lifted it up onto the frame

that is what I would do. I would put the winch on and see what it does. If it sags a little I would just get a coil spring spacer from teraflex. Unless it is a really heavy winch, I doubt you will sag too bad.

JK Rocker, heavy ass winch and bumper in frt. It's not exactly the same, but he is running the TF 3in coils in frt and the TF 2.5 BB spacer in the rear. It sets pretty damn level. I had helped him do the BB, acouple months later, he rolls up to my house looking like a hot rod with his frt riding on bumpstops

He had talked to David at Northridge and explained his set-up. He suggested the TF 3in springs for the front. Rocker also has an XRC bumper tire carrier on the rear, with the BB spacers on stock springs, so far it's working.

OK, but he started with stock springs and a BB spacer up front to begin with Thinking the 2.5 coils will hold better. Not sure what an M8000 weighs.... that's what I am going with

Yeah, he got the BB when he still had a stock bumper up frt, couple months later got the bumper and winch, after he put it on , it squashed the front end, didn't plan ahead.

I just bought a kit from a non-sponsor that had been in their shop and is from a year or two ago from Teraflex. They called it a 2.5" HD Budget boost and came with 3" coils in front and and I believe 2.5" spacers for the rear, everything else extra that came with the regular budget boost was the same... Should be arriving in the next few days but not sure on an install date yet, especially since I'm still on stock rubber... But I would think that's what you would want to do especially with aftermarket bumper/ winch to make sure you didn't sag eventually... Not firsthand experience here yet just thinking
