Default Another...37's on a 08 Sahara questions

I got an 08 Sahara and I have the following questions:

1. Just got the Roughed Country lift and I want 37's, is this enough lift or should I get 35's ?

2. I have read about the D30's in the front, I don't do hardcore wheeling yet (eventually will, only minor flexing for now ), will it hold with 37's ?

3. I bought it used so how do I find out if it has the tow package ? (and what gears it has), it has the tow hitch and the electronic connector for a trailer but I'm not sure if it means it has the tow package.

I really like the 37's and I know they perform better than the 35's so any good advice will be appreciated

Can you update your profile with some additional information such as what gears you have?

The FAQ's will get you pointed in the right direction for several of your questions.

For the gears, you can send your VIN in and request a build sheet. Or this was posted by Ronjenx:

Chock the front tires, fore and aft.
Put the transmission in neutral.
Emergency brake off.
Jack the left rear tire off the ground.
Put a jack stand under the frame, just in case the jack fails (had to add this).
Put an index mark on the aft end of the drive shaft, visible from the left rear wheel.
Put an index mark on the left rear tire at the 6 o'clock position.
Rotate the left rear tire 2 complete revolutions while counting how many times the index mark on the drive shaft passes its original position.
That number will be your axle ratio.
Remove jackstand and lower jack.
Put transmission in gear and/or apply emergency brake.
Remove chocks.
If you have limited slip, jack up both rear wheels and rotate one revolution, making sure both tires rotate equally.

If the driveshaft rotated almost 3 1/4 turns, you have 3.21
If the driveshaft rotated almost 3 3/4 turns, you have 3.73
If the driveshaft rotated a little over 4 turns, you have 4.10
If you decide to go with 37's on your D30, you might look into getting some gussets welded on. (it doesn't sound like you'll need all of the other axle upgrades, but at least look into gussets)

Thanks man, I will request a build sheet, I'm sure there is a website for this.

08 saharas have 3.73 gears
i have the tow package on mine and it came with 3.73
i would not think you would be able to run 37s unless you get flat fenders or like a 1 inch body the rough country lifts i have seen seem to be not really tall enough to run 37s perfectly and when i say that i mean rubbing

You have 3.73's with a Dana 30 in Front. "Will it hold with 37's" answer: NO

Saying 37's will "perform better than 35's" is incorrect as far as your Jeep is concerned. 37's are too big for a Dana 30, also too big for 3.73's. Your Jeep will be a turd with 35's and 3.73 gears let alone 37's. There are tons of threads/posts on this subject.
