Default ARB refrigerator

I am going to get an ARB refrigerator. The only thing is what size to get. it has to fit in my JKU and I don't want to get any bigger than I need. there is normally just two-three people for a few day maximum.

I think the 50qt is perfect for a Jeep. Plenty of room for enough drinks for a weekend with room left over for food. And, it fits back-to-front in the cargo area of a 4-door with no room to spare.

What he ^^^ said. I just purchased the 50 qt and couldn't be happier.

One thing I found out when deciding between this and the smaller one, although the footprint were the same, the smaller was also shorter by approx 3". This may not sound like much, but when you start to pack things in, you couldn't pack the same way in the smaller unit. The rear small area of the 50q, can hold a 16oz water bottle standing up, the smaller 37q could not. Also a bottle of wine could be stored standing up in the 50 qt, but not in the 37. Things like that. You're really losing a lot of functionality with the smaller unit.

Go with the 50 q, you won't regret it. By the way, I have a 2dr and it fits well in my jeep.

Add me to the 50 qt fan club you can really pt alot in it and the only negative I encountered (not being a beer drinker) was every one wants to put their beer in it after their ice melts 2 or 3 days into a multiday trip. If you're a beer drinker just think of it as beers from heaven. You would be surprised how much stuff you can get into a 2 door in addittion to a 50 qt. I just spent 10 days on the road with mine and woudn't be with out it. It's all how ya pack it. Be sure to put a dedicated new power source in for it though. It kinds like tires sure ya think 33's are good 2 weeks later it's 35's then 37's point being go big or stay home is how it usually goes evolves

I wish we would have gotten the bigger one (64Q?) only because it's lower profile. But that's because we have a Tuffy Security Deck in the back. The 50 is too tall to fit under it, and putting it on top, it's hard to open more than a few inches due to the sport bar. Aside from that, if you don't have a tuffy deck, size-wise the 50 is plenty big enough.

50qt is great size for the JK, fits well in the 4 door with the back seat in place. I wouldn't go smaller but that's just me.

Bought the 35L (37QT) model and no regrets. Saves space in the JK, and uses less power. Refrigeration is a precious commodity on the trail. Any amount of it is infinitely better than none.

Not to hijack, but does anyone know if the 50 will fit behind the rear seats of a 4-dr with a tray table mounted to the tailgate?
