I like to think of a safari trip ... a tent to stand up in w /a table an chair... sleeping on a cot ... food is not hard simple is best...everything good quality...can also be v/simple sleepin under the stars when warm...no tent raw food..just the journey..more complicated w/more people..but just to get away is the thing..

 

Great list from everyone. I always pack extra batteries, wet wipes, paper plates, plastic forks/spoons to keep it easy..Don't forget the TP..!!

 

It may have been listed but if not, a shovel and toilet paper.

 

I can't tell you how many wet wipe baths I have taken between camping/backpacking and being at sea on Tallships
