Default Kill switch on a 20112?

I've been hearing a lot of stories about people getting their jeeps stolen in SoCal. I'm moving to a not so good part of town and thinking about installing a kill switch for my 2012 Jk. Don't really know much about it.

Anyone know anything about kill switches? How to install it? Will it kill the warrenty?

Thanks, Luis

Funny nick and I were talking about this last week- I'm doing mine sometime this week- kill switches will not void your warranty.

I'll post up my idea later today

Default kill switch?

I can't wait for the directions on how and where to put the kill switch. This is gonna be good, two guys sitting around a campfire with adult beverages trying to figure out how to disable the Jeeps?

Put the sending unit from the wireless inside the JK ( on the visor looking down )
When the sensor detects motion, it will alarm the receiver thats inside your house.

Cheap and nasty ways that work.

I'd be wary of the wireless motion sensor if you leave the top or doors off. The neighborhood cat is going to drive you and your neighbors crazy.

If you do a kill switch don't forget the hood lock and bypass wire to keep your clock, uconnect, and radio settings intact.

Obviously you have to use common since when using a wireless system.
And when you have the wireless receiver (The one shown in the picture ) in your own house why would it drive your neighbors crazy ?.

Cats do mark their Territories
I guess people in Woodinville, Wa. like cat pee in their JKs !
