King of the Hammers 2017!
I say this every year, but if you haven't been to King of the Hammers yet you owe it to yourself to experience it.
This year KoH will take place between Friday, February 3rd and Saturday, February 11th. Check out the full schedule of events here: https://goo.gl/DiF4eZ. The main event is on Friday, February 10th, but there are a lot of other races and events to take it, like the Vision X Shootout, the UTV Race, and the Every Man Challenge.
JK-Forum always has a pretty big camp on the west side of Hammertown. Folks usually start rolling in on Wednesday to secure a spot, so check in here to get the coordinates to this year's site.
If this is your first year attending KoH, here are some tips:
It gets cold at night, so bring a warm sleeping bag if you're tent camping.
Firewood, the more the better.
There are a lot of deals in Hammertown, so bring your money. Or leave it at home if you don't want to be tempted.
It can be dusty, so a bandana or facemask can be handy.
As we have the last few years, JK-Forum will be providing transportation for 4 Wheel To Heal wounded warriors, caregivers, and volunteers to race viewing sites, as well as to the Extreme Barbie Jeep Race with Jeep Asylum on Thursday. Please let me know if you'd like to help out with this. We can always use more seats.
Let us know here if you're going! See you on the lakebed! Let me know if you're camping with us and bringing an RV or trailer so we can make sure we have a large enough site.
Going:
DesertJeep and son - RV and trailer
Nick Jones
Buckshot207
TheDirtman
RC3
Waterguy
Boosted
tomslik - RV
fercho

We plan to be there late Thursday night with a motorhome and a couple Jeeps! Please reserve me a "full hookup site" - perhaps 100' x 25' with 50 amps, water, sewer and cable should suffice.
P.S. - I will bring firewood!
