Default Pancake Rock Trail current status (San Diego)
Anyone know whether or not is closed or open? I know it was closed on and off back in 2014-2015. Haven't been in a few years and was wondering what it's current status is. I did a quick search and couldn't find anything recent. It was one of the first outings I had with my Jeep back in 2011. Wanting to take a buddy out who just got a Rubicon a few weeks ago. Or is it closed permanently now? Real bummer if it is...

Yeah it's still closed. New gate is pretty aggressive, don't see getting in anytime soon unfortunately.

Not too long ago. A new gate was put up that I doubt anyone is getting through in the foreseeable future without some heavy tools.
