Re-Build Shop for starter/alternator
Local So Cal fellas....I have an extra starter and will have my old alternator in a few days. I wanted to get both rebuilt to keep as spares in my vehicle. The alternator is a Denso 140amp and the starter is the Mopar that came on the vehicle. Starter is in working condition but had 60k original miles on it. I had a no start condition and replaced that which didn't fix (extra ground did). I'm not sure if the alternator is bad or not, still testing it but at 151k I decided to put a new one on and got a new Mopar 160amp for my 08 4801304AC .
So the point of rebuilding these is to make them reliable again. Anyone know of an actual shop that can do this correctly without me being angry and disappointed? It's getting harder and harder to find anyone who can do this type of stuff correctly without cutting corners.
