snow in the hi-desert

It was really cold. The Jeep earned its weight in gold today, driving around for about 4 hours today around town while shopping was easy while most other motorist were abandoning their cars on the side of the road and in driveways to businesses because they couldnt move. Never had one problem, only slided around when i wanted to for fun.

This is how i found my JK this morning...lots of snow


Here's a picture of how everything looked when i got home. I swear my street and sidewalk are under all that snow somewhere.

well i made it to work in lucerne valley.roads were nasty getting here,i'm the only one who could make it so i'm solo tonight until at least 6 in the morning or whenever i get some relief. took a quick measurement of the snow here at the plant and we are at 14 inches and counting.snow is continuing to fall at this moment.i'll try to get some pics later when i get things handled here.
oh by the way the jeep did awesome,i've been busting 4 foot drifts here at the plant

Wow... Im excited to go to Johnson Valley on sat now. It may be a little bit lower elevation wise (i dont know if it really is) but I may just have to drive up the back of Big Bear up the 18 to see what they got.
