Cajun Jeepers or Louisiana Jeepers?
Is anyone a member of either of these groups?
I went to the Jeep Jaunt Jam last weekend to register for the Jeep Jaunt on Oct 23. I have been contemplating joining either Cajun Jeepers or LA Jeepers. Both groups were represented very well at the Jam, but they weren't very nice to anyone who wasn't a member of their group. They weren't by any means rude, but they just werent friendly at all. I guess I'm used to you guys on here being pretty cool, so I was assuming people with the same passion about their jeeps would be just as nice. They didnt speak to me, didnt smile back, nothing. I guess they are fine with their group and dont feel the need for new members. So I'll keep the money that I would have spent on "dues" with one of these clubs, and buy a few things from the JK-Forum store :-)
Maybe cause most of them were driving *old* jeeps? They don't like people with JK's??

I don't personally know any of those guys, but I know the kind of attitude you are talking about... folks can sometimes be cold-sholdererd to new people... Still, a club can be a great resource, especially if you are new to the whole wheelin' thing. Perhaps those douche-bags didn't actually represent the club... You might try contacting them (through their website) to see if they have someone a little more friendly who handles new memberships... it looks like they have a few other JK's in the pics.

I'm part of the Jeep club in the Baton Rouge Area. Never any problems with welcoming others. sorry to hear that you got the cold shoulder from other Jeep lovers.
Most from my club will be at the Jeep Jaunt in October, hope to see you there - promise no cold shoulders here.
