Default Diesel pump

Hi All,

I am new to this forum, so please bear with me if you have had this question before.....
Anyone had any problems with a high-pressure diesel pump on a CRD 2.8?? and what did you do to fix the problem?

if you are sure its the pump it needs to be replaced , if you are very mechanically inclined maybe there is a kit available and it could be rebuilt

Thanks CarolinaJK for responding to my post, turns out to be a performance chip I fitted. It is a chip with a pot, I had the setting to 'high' cuasing the problem similar to a pump that would be fualty as per the Jeep agents in S.A. I took the JK for a second opinion and they found the problem by putting her on the Dyno. Now the setting is done and the problem is gone.
