Honestly the best purchase I ever made. The rivets were popping. The rattle was driving me crazy.I have a 285/65/18 tire/rim setup. The hinge works well. The adjustable tire carrier, I set it up for a future upgrade to 35" tires , which I will be doing soon. I purchased the Hi Lift Jack holder as well. Teraflex thanks for coming up with this design.

Here's mine. I may pull it off and paint it and see how that holds up.

I'm still VERY happy with it, although I didn't buy it new and got a heck of a deal. It is the first generation, original owner did get the upgraded adjustable carrier for free from Teraflex before I bought it. I've seen many of these, and none of them look as bad as mine.

I love the looks and low mount of your teraflex carrier. I know there seem to be a lot of issues with the 1st gens BUT how are the newest ones doing? I would love to get one but i am a little gun shy after reading some older threads to be honest.
