The brake light in the rear bumper- is it DOT/ SAE approved for highway use? It's a great idea to stop the tailgaters from smashing your bumper but its got to be DOT/ SAE to comply with most state inspection laws....otherwise it has to be covered during inspection.

Also, what's the impact resistance on that light? It's placed close to where you'd couple up a trailer and without a backup camera you're shooting in the dark. I'd hate to destroy the light right out of the gate.
