I am digging the formed side vents very much, however the really narrow hump in middle.......well.....i am really digging the formed side vents.....

I am glad to see more hood options come to the market for our jeeps. I really appreciate the full thought process that is incorporated into that design. It is well thought out to be sure for function and safety!


I would have bought a hood that had those side vents in it with a regular width 2" tall cowl induction style hood at that price point.

The limiting factor in the cowl's width are the two hinges that affix the hood and our cowl in the middle is as wide as possible because it spans from hinge to hinge.

Also at its highest point, the cowl is only ~3 inches tall so just a little more than what you have mentioned.

I have had a few people ask me if the cowl significantly obstructs the view so I thought I would post up a picture. The orange tool box is ~6 feet from the JK and is 39 inches in height. My JK sits on a 2.5" lift and 37"s for reference.
