We've been blessed to have the best-selling, best-performing Jeep Wrangler skid plates in the industry. Our 3/16" steel and 1/4" thick aluminum plates are the pinnacle of protection. We were first to market with JK skids giving us the most data to refine fit and function.

The Rock Hard 4x4 RHX Series 1/4" thick steel skid plates offer the most protection you can bolt-on to your trail rig. While hefty at 1/4" thickness, this increased level of protection is worth every added pound.

Great tech phone call in just now plus got a similar question on Facebook: yes, these skids are compatible with all our other skids. For example, you can run one of our 3/16" steel oil pan/transmission skids and add a RHX 1/4" thick steel transfer case skid plate.

Minor housekeeping update: to keep in line with a new line of products coming soon, we are name changing our 1/4" thick steel skid plates to RHX. Same extreme duty skid plates, new name. Enjoy!
