the pre filter pic I saw looked ugly.

If the ram air model looks more like the river raider but cost significantly less, than Its the clear winner, River Raiders looks very nice IMO

Ok just to clarify the "pre-filter" Is the plastic dome and the ram air is the "scoop"

Sorry not a very good way to describe them. Wer are going to put the pre filter on our Jeeps after what we saw in moab they work very well.

I have 20 "pre filter" Versions on the way will have them up on the site asap.

what is the shipping date.?

The ram air has no delivery date. The pre filter model will be able to ship in a week or two.

Is there going to be a vent or cover plate to cover the hole in the hood if you decide to remove the snorkel? I remember reading something about it awhile ago
