Just curious if this is an OEM kit or aftermarket. This is one mod I'd like to do, but I'm still in the research stage.

Power locks would be cool too.

I know it's a Jeep, you don't need p/l or p/w, but it would be convenient for the 4 dr. Manual stuff is less of a hassell in a 2dr.

This is aftermarket but all the components are metal and not plastic like the OE .

I would not pay that much money to upgrade to power windows, but that is just me.

I put power windows on my frt doors only...didn't need/want 'em for the rear windows. So even for a 4 dr, the 2 window kit is an option for those who rarely use the back seats.

I don't know. An old car of mine had some work done on one of the power windows. The motor and a few other parts came to about $600 so this doesn't sound bad for a full kit. Personally, I don't want power windows even if I had full doors.

Only if they are not the cheapo cable driven universal kits. If its a direct bolt on like the stock stuff then yes itd be worth every penny

i installed power windows on my rubi as it did not come with the from the factory... had to change the regulators to power ones, add motors of course, install the wiring, switches plugs at the doors so they still come off, all in all i believe it cost me a little under 600 dollars and the motors and regulators are oem parts... the wiring is aftermarket but it turned out nice and clean, and works great... howeve, for a little more doe, i would have gladly baught a kit with instructions (though i probably wouldn't have read them, lol) all the peices and parts and i wouldn't have to figure out how to make them fit my JK. so i say go for it. One more thing... the factory motors are nice and quick! i remember the first JK i test drove with power windows all i could think of was DANG that window really hauls A$$, sounds dumb, but when i'm in my brothers honda, my dads oldsmobile, and moms lexus... they seem to all move really slow compared to the JK, something i guess you wouldn't notice until you experienced it... but i guess if you do it, fast moving windows would be a plus.

Ok, thats my 0.02
