I also have the 6D code, but what i find funny is everytime I hook it up to the computer to see if there is an update it updates the same thing everytime, as if it just wants me to think it is actually updating something. And this new update should be out tomorrow for us 6D problems??
What typically happens is someone like you goes to program and they get the calibration not found and you're prompted to update the programmer. If it's a calibration that is currently supported the programmer is updated and you're good to go. However if it's a calibration that hasn't been seen before, like in your case it sends that calibration to us and you should be asked if you would like to receive an email when the calibration is supported. Fast forward a few days you update your programmer and you're good to go. The calibration is also added to our library and the next person who comes along with your calibration shouldn't have any problems.

Darnell,
I am no go on my Max Energy as well. I have a 2007 JK Sahara (mfg Jul 07)upgraded to 35 in tires and regeared to 4.88. The unit says that programming was successful however, no change to speedometer (checked against my GPS). I have installed/uninstalled several times. Also went to the website to download any upgrades. Indication from website was that one file was transferred. After reloading the programs still no change. Any advice?

Talked to tech at Hypertech today who then put me through to their engineering department.
I was told I have the AE engine and their progammers are only good up to the AD engines.
Chysler has yet to give them the information they need to make programers for AE engines.
He said Chysler can take up to 6 months to release information. My truck was made in Oct.
So....according to him, pre Oct. Jeeps can be progamed. At his advice, I returned the unit to 4x4parts today. I am on their e-mail list to know when to buy a unit, he thinks in about 2 months.

I just downloaded new firmware for the programmer. It now reports:
05187163AH Is Supported
05187163AH Not Supported
05187163AH Is Supported
I'll pre-program the JK after dinner and post results.

Darnell I've compared the posts and drt4fun's-AndyR's and mine, the numbers for what is and isn't supported are all different from the others I know I'm not a programmer but if the code is written for all the same vehicles why the difference's in code numbers and what is isn't supported. I'm just throwing stuff against the wall and seeing what sticks to try and get to the bottom of it, so please take it as intended just trying to help get to the bottom of the issues. Thanks again for your help here.

Speedo is still off. I cranked the tire size up to 44" to see if any change was noticable - nope. I did find that all the following are 4dr Rubi codes
05094149AE
05094149AF
05187163AA
05187163AB
05187163AC
05187163AD
05187163AE
05187163AF
05187163AG
05187163AH <------my Rubi has this one
Mine recently got the latest flash to fix the recall, so I guess that's why its a relativey new code.
