The new 2020 Jeep Gladiator colors were recently revealed. Which ones are you diggin? I personally really like the "Gator" color. The website says "late availability" for it, but I would totally wait for this one to become available.
Sting-Gray Gobi Hydro Blue Punk'n Metallic Billet Silver Metallic Firecracker Red Granite Crystal Metallic Black Bright White Gator
Bright white is a very good go-to color that will stay relevant 5+ years later.
As for your Gobi recon, is it possible you just got used to the color over time? Or is it just bland in comparison to other colors you've seen on other recons? I'm asking because my friend also had the same reaction to the color they picked that they thought was cool at the time, but now every other color to them just appeals more.

I have had 3 bright white jk's and never got tired of them. I actually wanted a bright white recon but found a very good deal on my Gobi recon even tho at the time I was shopping for a bright white I could not pass up the deal.

I really did the Hydro Blue. But the colors seems a little tame in comparison to what you can get on the Charger and Challenger. Maybe they didn't think they'd sell too many Plum Crazy Jeeps? Ha ha!
My Personal has always been BLACK.. however the Stingray Gray or Billet Silver could find a way to my driveway
Black is classic. My best buddy actually ordered his Rubicon in black, but the dealer messed up, and got it a silver one. He actually liked it better, because of the contrast with the fenders — but still used their screw up to get some money off!
