Read the 08 2dr hardtop will fit on a newer jk; some mod to the harness end? looking to sell mine, but need to know how much is mod is required.

 

There are differences in the freedom panels and where the latch on the jeep and footmans loop. The back half has changed as well from 10 ( I believe) and up. You can modify the top or the jeep to make it work.
Phisicaly they are the same size and will bolt up. It's just how much you want to modify and change.
