Marine engines are also fogged at the end of the boating season. You can probably get what youre looking for at a west marine or boating supply place.

I've had my old Bronco in storage for a couple years now, and everything still starts and runs great on its yearly checkup.

Here's what you gotta do:
-Replace all the fluids
-FILL the gas tank w/ high quality fuel and add fuel stabilizer. If you try to empty it, you'll never get all of it out and gas vapor is much more corrosive.
-Unplug the battery and take it out of the jeep.
-If you want to decompress the suspension, leave the tires on and just jack the frame up an inch. Try to take it half way. Don't let it droop.
-If parking on concrete or other porous material, put plastic sheet under the car.
-If parking outside, put steel wool in the exhaust to keep rodents etc. out.

Hope it all works when you get back from Korea.

Default be better off

U really oughta leave it with sumbuddy u really trust. It needs to b driven at least a little bit the seals will dry rot. If u don't got no good friends like that. pull the plugs pour about a tablespoon of marvel mystery oil into each cylinder and spin the engine over that'll fog it. now u gotta get that oill out b 4 u crank it when storage is over. definately pull the batt and put it on a tender they make solar ones. I like that idea. put it on stands for the tires and put some of that good 303 protectant all over the tires and ur flares and don't forget the soft top if that's what u got. when u take it out of storage look at the wires and such real good to see that the rats and squirrills haven't eaten them. I don't know what will keep em away from it but I'd put lots of DCON around to try to keep the population under control. Really, rats and squirrills destroy electrical systems all the time.

....at the boatyard we put mothballs around all wiring for winter storage....mice, rats, squirrels hate the smell and won't bother anything.

Good tips gentlemen, keep em coming. I might have a trustworthy driver lined up though. I will have to drive it down to Miami and stay there a couple days. Man that might be rough.

as far as the mice and such, get sum moth balls (hardest part is trying to look between their legs). spread them around the floor andand in open containers inside that will keep the squirrels and mice out. may be old school but it works. i dont care for the decon method because ive had mice die in the heater ducts and behind the dash
