Default 2 door split rear seats

Does anyone know if they make a split rear seat for the 2 door. I often take my seat out completely but as I have a family of 3 it would be nice to have the option with a split rear seat so you could take one side out or both. I know the obvious answer is I should have bought a 4 door but I didn't and would love extra room while seating 3 people. And yes I have thought of the chainsaw option.

I actually asked this same question a month or so ago, and the answer was a definate no. The obvious idea would be the 60/40 split seat in the back of the JK but it doesnt fit because of the wheel wells being there, however you COULD always pick up a JKU rear seat and try and get really creative and completely mod the seat to fit (would not be easy)

I have a pipe dream of one day designing a bucket seat rear for my jeep and making it a 3 seater. That bench removes, but is anything but convenient.

I would be happy if the seat was like the Jeep GC rear seat. One side folds down to have more room.

There's some good info in this thread in case you're serious about making it a 3-seater.

New to the jeep world. Other than new tires, this is the first thing I want to change in my JK. You would think after 70 years, Jeep would have figured out a folding split rear seat. It is a no-brainer, as it would provide so much more flexiblity with the limited space in 2 door. So just to confirm, there is no after market split rear seat availble?

I think there is one out there for the older model Jeeps. Perhaps you could make something work. But just my 2 cents. If you are going to have your kid in the seat I would not mess with it too much for safety reasons.
