2007 Auto Trans not shifting
 

We have a 2007 with an auto trans and sometimes the transmission will only run in 2nd gear. You can shut the engine off start it back up and it will be fine. No check engine lights. It shifts from park and reverse works but no matter what forward gear you select it is only in 2nd. We have larger tires than stock so I used an AEV programmer for the tire size only and that was 4 months ago. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Also there about 91,000 miles on it. Thanks

Have you checked the transmission fluid level? Check it when warmed up, engine idling, lever in Park.

If that's OK, running only in 2nd is typical of limp mode.
Check for codes with a good scanner. Most auto parts stores will do it free of charge.
